WHO ARE WE? |
We
were established in 1991 by Andrew Weston (Managing Director)
and are based in Stoke On Trent in Staffordshire.
We initially manufactured and installed the "Adam
Style" surrounds and gas fires, but later concentrated
on diversifying our company and began to manufacture cultured
stone surrounds. |
ABOUT OUR PRODUCT |
We have always designed
our own surrounds and explored new ideas and designs with
regard to any new surround we create. We try to design
in a way which will appeal to all our customers and could
be suited to any style of house and decor.
Our fireplaces are created using natural stone extracts
and composite materials. This gives the beauty of natural
stone but with modern day cleaning requirements. The major
difference between our product and real stone is that
our product is non porous, very hard wearing and extremely
durable.

HOW DO I CLEAN IT? |

This is the main question that we are
asked! As previously mentioned, all our designs are non-porous.
This gives a natural finish without the worry of 'spillages'.
Our surrounds can withstand coke, red wine etc, and only
need a quick wipe over with a damp cloth to remain looking
as new.
We like to give tile size samples to our customers in
the showroom and invite them to take them home to test!
They always return with the sample in hand amazed at the
durability of the material. |
OUR SERVICE TO YOU |
We aim to maintain a very high standard,
both with our products and after sales service. Each individual
Acorn Excel fireplace is rigorously checked through all
of its processes. We believe this gives our customers
excellent detailed definition of stone carving.
